Double Sided Polyimide Tape

Our double sided polyimide tape is a high-temperature tape. The base is polyimide film. Both sides are coated with silicone adhesive. The film is in the middle. Both sides have release liner protection. The base of our double sided polyimide tape can handle 220°C. The silicone adhesive can also handle 220°C. So the whole roll of tape works at 200°C for a long time. Ordinary tape loses its stickiness at 150°C. Ours does not. A flexible circuit board factory came to us. They needed to bond two FPCs together. Then they had to go through a reflow oven. The reflow oven temperature is 260°C for a short time. Ordinary tape could not handle it. We sent them a sample of our double sided polyimide tape. They ran it at 260°C for 30 seconds. The tape did not de-bond. There were no bubbles. Now they buy 1000 square meters of our double sided polyimide tape every month.

The total thickness of our double sided polyimide tape is 0.06 mm to 0.2 mm. The base thickness is 0.025 mm. The adhesive layer on each side is 0.0175 mm. Peel strength on each side is 6 N/cm. Breakdown voltage is 5 kV. Long-term temperature resistance is 200°C. Short-term can go to 260°C. Many tape factories apply silicone unevenly. Some areas have thick adhesive. Some have thin adhesive. Our coating machine has high precision. The adhesive thickness tolerance is ±0.003 mm. When laminated, it is very flat. We supply our double sided polyimide tape in rolls. Widths from 3 mm to 500 mm.
