Crepe Paper Tube

Our Crepe Paper Tube is made by winding crepe insulation paper around a mandrel. It is also called crepe insulation sleeve. The surface has wrinkles. So it can bend without cracking. How is it made? We wrap crepe paper around a steel rod. We wind layer by layer. We use glue to bond the layers. Then we pull out the rod. We get a tube. Because the crepe paper can stretch, the tube has some flexibility. It is not completely rigid. A transformer lead wire sleeve factory came to us. They needed a sleeve to put over a copper busbar. We have special tube winding machines. We can make tubes with inner diameters from 6 mm to 100 mm. Wall thickness from 0.5 mm to 5 mm. Length up to 2000 mm. We can also cut to custom lengths. The breakdown voltage of our Crepe Paper Tube is 3 kV through the tube wall. After oil immersion, the breakdown voltage is higher. The compressive strength in the radial direction can handle 100 kg. The crepe structure gives a cushioning effect. The temperature class is B (130°C). Our winding machines are automatically controlled. The tension is stable. The wall thickness is even.
