Designed for 200°C and Above

 

Our High-Temperature Diamond-Dotted Paper uses a high-temperature base material with diamond-shaped resin dots. The base can be aramid paper or polyimide film. Ordinary DDP only works up to 155°C. Our High-Temperature Diamond-Dotted Paper works up to 220°C. Why is high-temperature resistance needed? Dry-type transformer windings get hot when working. The higher the temperature, the sooner ordinary resin dots will cure early or carbonize. Carbonized dots lose their stickiness. Our resin is a special formula. It can handle 220°C for a long time without carbonizing. A factory making high-temperature dry-type transformers came to us. Their transformers are exported to the Middle East. The environment temperature often reaches 50°C. With the transformer's own heat, the insulation layer often hits 180°C. They used ordinary DDP before. After three months, the resin dots turned black and became brittle. We sent them a sample of our High-Temperature Diamond-Dotted Paper. The base was aramid paper. The resin dots used the high-temperature formula. They put it in their transformer for one year. They tested again. The dots were still light yellow. The bonding strength did not drop. Now they have switched to our High-Temperature Diamond-Dotted Paper. They buy 3 tons every year.

Three Base Options for Different Needs

 

Our High-Temperature Diamond-Dotted Paper comes with three base options. The first is aramid paper. It handles 220°C. The second is polyimide film. It handles over 300°C. The third is glass fiber cloth. It has high strength and does not burn. All have diamond-shaped resin dots. Dot height is 50 to 100 microns. We put our High-Temperature Diamond-Dotted Paper in an oven at 200°C for 168 hours. Then we did a peel strength test. The peel strength retention rate was 85%. Ordinary DDP under the same conditions had a retention rate of only 40%. Our formula is more than twice as good. This product has a high technical barrier. Not many factories can make it well. Our formula is developed in-house. Our technicians have over 20 years of experience. You sell this to high-end customers. Others cannot easily compete.
