Flame retardant 3240 epoxy resin board is an upgraded fire-resistant variant of standard 3240 board. Ordinary 3240 has limited self-extinguishing performance and cannot be used in fire-mandatory scenarios. We add eco-friendly flame retardants to the epoxy formula, raising its flame resistance to UL94 V0 while retaining original mechanical and insulation properties. It is a mandatory material for rail transit, new energy, mining electrical equipment and high-rise power distribution with strict fire codes.
A mining electrical manufacturer needed insulation materials with UL94 V0 flame resistance for mine safety certification. Ordinary 3240 failed the test, while imported flame-retardant boards were costly.
