NHN composite paper for electrical insulation is one of the soft composite insulation materials with the highest temperature resistance grade currently available. Its three-layer "paper-film-paper" structure resembles NMN, but the intermediate film differs: NMN uses Mylar polyester film, while NHN adopts polyimide (PI) film. Polyimide film can operate long-term at 300℃, granting NHN a Class C (220℃) temperature resistance grade, one level higher than NMN’s Class H (180℃).

NHN composite paper for electrical insulation is one of the soft composite insulation materials with the highest temperature resistance grade currently available. Its three-layer "paper-film-paper" structure resembles NMN, but the intermediate film differs: NMN uses Mylar polyester film, while NHN adopts polyimide (PI) film. Polyimide film can operate long-term at 300℃, granting NHN a Class C (220℃) temperature resistance grade, one level higher than NMN's Class H (180℃). NHN is one of the few viable options for extreme working conditions such as high-temperature special motors, electric furnace transformers and aerospace electrical equipment.

A customer manufacturing special motors contacted us when their motors operated in environments with frequent temperatures reaching 200℃, where previously used NMN failed to withstand the heat. We recommended NHN and sent samples, which passed three months of real motor testing. Now they place a stable monthly order of 1 ton. We also conducted comparative tests: our NHN and a competitor's NHN were baked in a 220℃ oven for 96 consecutive hours. Our product showed almost no discoloration, while the competitor's product turned visibly yellow. Yellowing signals material aging, which causes insulation to become brittle, crack and suffer sharp declines in insulation performance. Our NHN uses genuine polyimide film rather than recycled or downgraded materials, guaranteeing reliable temperature resistance.

Quality Control

 

As a high-end product, NHN undergoes the strictest quality control standards in our factory. Every batch is subject to four core tests: breakdown voltage, tensile strength, glow wire flame retardancy and high-temperature aging. The high-temperature aging test requires baking at 220℃ for 96 hours, followed by visual inspection and strength retesting; batches with strength retention below 80% are scrapped immediately. Our glow wire test instrument runs daily, and the UL94 V0 flame retardancy grade is verified through actual testing. All test data is recorded in physical files accessible to customers upon request.

 

Packaging & Transportation

 

Export packaging of NHN strictly complies with international transportation standards. The inner layer is wrapped with moisture-proof PE film, and the outer layer is reinforced with hard cartons or wooden pallets to prevent moisture absorption and deformation during long-distance transportation. Clear labels are affixed to each package indicating product name, specifications, batch number, net weight, gross weight and production date. We accommodate special packaging requirements including customized shipping marks, designated pallet sizes and small roll splitting. Trade terms EXW and FOB are supported, with convenient logistics from Wenzhou Port.
