C-Class With a Better Price Than NHN
Our AHA insulation paper is a high-end composite. Its structure is aramid paper – polyimide film – aramid paper. The "A" in the middle stands for polyimide film. This film has C-class (220°C) temperature resistance. So our AHA insulation paper can reach C-class. What is the difference between AHA and NHN? NHN uses Nomex plus polyimide. AHA insulation paper uses regular aramid paper plus polyimide. The performance is very close. But the price of AHA is lower. Nomex paper is expensive. We use Metastar™, a domestic aramid paper. The performance is good but the price is much lower. A company making charging pile transformers came to us. Their transformer working temperature often reaches 200°C. They needed C-class material but had a limited budget. We recommended our AHA insulation paper. We sent a sample. They tested it in their transformer for two months. Higher Strength Retention After Aging
We put our AHA insulation paper in an oven at 220°C for 96 hours. Then we tested the tensile strength. The strength retention rate was 85%. The industry standard is 70%. We are 15 percentage points higher than the standard. This means our product ages more slowly. Your customer's product lasts longer. Our AHA insulation paper also has good flame retardancy. We passed the UL94 V0 test. It self-extinguishes after the flame is removed. It is also oil resistant. We soaked it in transformer oil for one month. Then we tested the breakdown voltage. It dropped only 5%. This shows it is suitable for oil-immersed transformers.
