PET Insulation Paper

Our PET insulation paper is not actually paper. It is a polyester film. People in the industry call it motor film. The color is transparent or milky white. The main advantage of PET insulation paper is its high strength. Its tensile strength can reach over 200 MPa. That is much higher than DMD insulation paper. So our PET insulation paper can be very thin. A 0.05 mm thick sheet is already very strong. A DMD sheet of the same thickness tears easily. A micro motor factory came to us. Their motors are very small. The slots are also very narrow. DMD was too thick. It did not fit in the slot. We recommended 0.05 mm PET insulation paper. It is only one quarter the thickness of DMD. It fit perfectly. The strength was enough. They have used it for six months with no problems.

We use raw materials from major domestic suppliers. The quality is stable. We do not use recycled materials. Recycled PET insulation paper becomes brittle easily. Our film works at 130°C for a long time. It does not become brittle. We can slit our PET insulation paper into 2.3 mm narrow strips. The width tolerance is ±0.1 mm. We can also cut it into sheets. The sheet size tolerance is ±0.5 mm. We offer a special service. We can laminate our PET insulation paper with double-sided tape. This makes a self-adhesive PET. Your customer peels off the release liner and sticks it directly into the slot. This saves them the gluing step. Many motor factories have used this service. They all say it is easy to use.
