Polyester Plastic Film

Our polyester plastic film is a general-purpose insulation film. PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate. It is one of the most commonly used insulation films for motors and electrical equipment. PET film has three advantages. First, high mechanical strength. Tensile strength can reach 200 MPa. That is four to five times higher than DMD insulation paper. Second, good insulation performance. Breakdown voltage can reach above 10 kV. Third, sufficient heat resistance. Long-term use at 130°C is fine. Short-term can go to 150°C. What is the difference between our polyester plastic film and ordinary PET film? Ordinary PET film is bought from the market in large rolls. We do not simply sell the original film. We do secondary processing. We slit and rewind. We can cut large rolls into narrow strips. We can also rewind into small rolls. Your customer gets exactly the width they need. Many customers buy our polyester plastic film and use it directly on automatic wrapping machines.

A high-frequency transformer factory came to us. They needed PET film for layer insulation. The thickness was 0.025 mm. The width was 20 mm. The tolerance requirement was ±0.1 mm. We did it. Our slitting machine has high precision. We controlled the tolerance within ±0.05 mm. They were very satisfied. Now they buy 200 rolls of our polyester plastic film every month. The performance data is as follows. Breakdown voltage in the vertical direction is 7 kV. Tensile strength in the machine direction is 200 MPa. In the cross direction, it is 180 MPa. Heat shrinkage at 150°C for 30 minutes is less than 1.5%. These numbers meet the national standard GB/T 13542. Our polyester plastic film complies with RoHS and REACH. We have test reports. We can provide them if needed.
