Colorless Polyimide Film

Our colorless polyimide film is a high-performance film. Ordinary polyimide film is amber-colored. Our product is colorless and transparent. The transparency is over 90%. Why do you need a colorless and transparent film? In some optoelectronic devices or display screens, the insulation material cannot block light. Ordinary polyimide film is dark. It absorbs light. Our colorless polyimide film lets light pass through. So it is used in flexible circuit boards, optoelectronic devices, and touch screens. The technical difficulty of our colorless polyimide film is very high. Ordinary polyimide has a molecular structure that is naturally colored. To make it colorless, the chemical structure must be changed. Our technical team has over 20 years of experience. We work with domestic universities. We spent over a year developing this product before mass production.

A flexible display panel company came to us. They needed a transparent insulation film. The heat resistance needed to be above 250°C. Ordinary PET film only goes to 150°C. We sent them a sample of our colorless polyimide film. The thickness was 25 microns. The light transmittance was 92%. The heat resistance was 260°C. They tested it and passed. Now they buy 500 kg of our colorless polyimide film every month. The performance data is as follows. Light transmittance is 91% to 93%. Haze is less than 1%. Thermal decomposition temperature is above 500°C. Glass transition temperature is 300°C. Tensile strength is 200 MPa. Breakdown voltage is 150 kV/mm. These numbers are at the leading level in China.
