Insulating Motor Film

What is the difference between our Insulating Motor Film and ordinary PET film? Ordinary PET film has no corona treatment. The surface energy is low. Glue does not stick well. Our Insulating Motor Film has double-sided corona treatment. The surface energy reaches 50 dynes or more. Your customer applies glue or tape. It sticks firmly. A home appliance motor factory came to us. They bought PET film themselves. Then they applied glue to make slot insulation. But the glue was always uneven. Some areas had no glue. Some areas had too much glue. We recommended our Insulating Motor Film. We made it into a self-adhesive type according to their needs. One side had pressure-sensitive adhesive. They peeled off the release liner and stuck it directly into the slot. They saved the gluing step. The pass rate went from 92% to 99%. Now they buy 2 tons of our Insulating Motor Film every month.

We have three types of Insulating Motor Film. The first is plain film. This is corona-treated PET film. Your customer processes it themselves. The second is single-sided adhesive film. It has pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is easy to stick into slots. The third is double-sided adhesive film. It is used to bond two layers of material together. The base material is BOPET film. Tensile strength is 180 MPa. Breakdown voltage is 8 kV. Heat resistance is 130°C for long-term use. We did a 1000-hour aging test. The strength retention rate was 90%. We can slit our Insulating Motor Film into 2.3 mm narrow strips. The width tolerance is ±0.1 mm. We can also cut rounded corners. This prevents scratching the copper wire.
