Colorless high temperature resistant polyimide film is targeted at high-end optoelectronics and flexible electronics. Conventional PI films are amber and opaque, blocking light transmission, making them unsuitable for light-transmitting applications. Our modified molecular structure delivers over 90% light transmittance while retaining PI's ultra-high temperature resistance – long-term service at 220℃ and resistance to 260℃ short-term reflow soldering shocks.
A flexible display manufacturer struggled to find substrates that are both transparent and heat-resistant: standard PET fails reflow, regular PI blocks light.
