High dielectric strength insulating motor film is optimized PET film exclusively for motor insulation, serving as core slot and interphase insulation material. Unlike ordinary PET, our film undergoes double-sided corona treatment to reach surface energy above 50 dynes, drastically improving adhesion for coating and tape lamination to avoid peeling and edge warping. More importantly, optimized raw material and stretching processes deliver higher breakdown voltage at equal thickness for larger insulation safety margins and more reliable motor operation.
A home appliance motor factory previously coated regular PET in-house with a pass rate of only 92%. Our self-adhesive motor film with release liner enables direct lamination into slots, lifting pass rates to 99% with stable monthly orders of 2 tons. Our BOPET substrate achieves tensile strength 180MPa and steady breakdown voltage ≥8kV with no aging after 1000-hour thermal aging at 130℃. Precision slitting down to 2.3mm width with ±0.1mm tolerance and optional rounded edges prevent copper wire scratches. Three variants: plain single-sided adhesive, double-sided adhesive for your process choice. For distributors, motor film is a repeat bulk product; clients rarely switch once satisfied with slitting precision and stable adhesive layers.
