Inspect Insulation Paper and Equipment Condition
Prior to installation, verify that the insulation paper is intact and undamaged; this includes checking its surface for cracks, creases, oil stains, or signs of moisture. Simultaneously, confirm that the equipment's windings, slots, or mounting surfaces are clean and dry-free from dust, oil residue, or foreign objects-to ensure the insulation paper can be laid down smoothly and flatly.

Cutting and Pre-treatment
Based on the equipment's dimensions and the specific installation location, cut the insulation paper to the appropriate specifications. For areas requiring multiple superimposed layers, the paper may be laid with appropriate overlaps or staggered seams to enhance insulation thickness and dielectric strength. If necessary, the paper may undergo a mild drying or pre-heating process to ensure optimal flexibility and conformability.

Laying and Securing
Lay the insulation paper flat against the installation surface, taking care to avoid air bubbles, folds, or creases. For windings or coiled components, wind the paper evenly along the direction of the fibers to ensure tight, intimate contact between layers. Once laid, gently secure the paper using insulation tape, clamps, or other fastening methods to prevent shifting or loosening during operation.

Inspection and Refinement
Upon completion of the installation, conduct a final inspection to verify that the insulation paper is laid flat, the thickness is uniform, and the edges are neat. If any localized lifting, uneven overlapping, or damage is detected, immediately trim or replace the affected section to ensure that the insulation performance meets all design specifications.
