Heat resistant DMD prepreg is an upgraded high-temperature version of standard DMD prepreg, developed for application scenarios requiring Class H and above temperature resistance. It adopts a modified high-temperature epoxy resin formula coated onto DMD composite paper substrates, maintaining a B-stage semi-cured state at room temperature. After curing by heating, it can operate stably long-term at 180℃ and withstand short-term high temperatures up to 200℃ under emergency conditions. For motors, transformers and special electrical equipment operating at elevated temperatures, ordinary prepreg tends to soften and lose bonding strength under high heat, an issue effectively resolved by our high-temperature resistant formula.

The resin formula of our high-temperature resistant prepreg is independently developed by a technical team with over 20 years of insulation material R&D experience, balancing high bonding strength and superior thermal stability. Actual test data shows that after 1,000 hours of placement in a 180℃ oven, the bonding strength retention rate of cured samples remains above 85%, while ordinary epoxy prepreg retains less than 60% under identical conditions. A mining motor manufacturer previously used standard prepreg, and insulation layers showed signs of delamination after prolonged operation due to high underground summer temperatures. After switching to our heat resistant DMD prepreg, the bonding condition remained intact after six consecutive months of operation. For distributors supplying high-end motors and special transformers, high-temperature resistant prepreg serves as a differentiated product advantage – it addresses high-temperature working conditions unmanageable by competitors' products.

Factory Strength

Our factory specializes in R&D and production of insulation materials, ranking among the early domestic manufacturers to mass-produce high-temperature resistant prepreg. The core technical team holds more than 20 years of experience in insulation material formula R&D and maintains technical cooperation with material colleges of domestic universities. The key challenge for high-temperature resistant prepreg lies in balancing resin formula performance: stable semi-cured state with sufficient shelf life alongside high temperature resistance and bonding strength after curing, a balance achieved through hundreds of experimental iterations to finalize our mature mass production formula. The factory is equipped with three-in-one composite machines, high-precision coating machines, 4 slitting machines and stamping forming equipment with an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons and monthly capacity of 200 tons, enabling on-time delivery of large orders.

After-sales Service

As a technical product, high-temperature resistant DMD prepreg often presents process parameter matching challenges to customers during initial use. We provide full-process technical support: pre-sales engineers coordinate your curing processes to define optimal temperature, pressure and time parameters; during production, we proactively share photos and videos of manufacturing progress without follow-up reminders required; after goods arrival, we respond within 8 hours and deliver solutions within 24 hours for any usage issues, and can arrange on-site guidance by technical personnel for complex problems. We also establish dedicated product usage files for each customer with assigned staff for regular follow-up visits to assist process optimization and loss reduction.

FAQ

Q: What is the price difference between heat resistant DMD prepreg and ordinary DMD prepreg?

A: The high-temperature resistant version costs approximately 15%-20% more due to higher resin raw material costs, yet delivers substantially improved performance ideal for high-temperature working condition projects.

Q: Are there special storage and transportation requirements?

A: Refrigerated storage below 5℃ is mandatory with a shelf life of 3 months. Transportation uses insulation boxes with ice packs to maintain product quality for standard logistics durations of 3-4 days.

Q: Can samples be sent for testing first?

A: Free small samples are available for you to test curing processes and performance prior to placing bulk orders.
